Dear Friend,

Welcome to the website of Holy Rosary Church  (located at 139 Chauncey Street, Brooklyn, New York 11233 between Stuyvesant Avenue and Malcolm X Blvd. formerly Reid Ave.) Our rectory is located at 172 Bainbridge St.

Through worship, education and community involvement we have sought to build up the body of Christ in Bedford Stuyvesant since 1889.

This website is our most recent tool in bringing the knowledge and love of Our Lord Jesus Christ to both our members and our neighbors.

We realize that this website offers only the virtual connection that exists in the impersonal world of cyberspace. The Calendar and list of organizations indicates the breath of the parish's activities but can not convey the depth and warmth of our people. .We would love to have you join us at Sunday Mass or any other function. We want to get to know your name and make you feel at home with the members of our parish family. If you leave your name and telephone number one of our members will get back to you to answer any questions you may have and to extend a personal invitation.

And this is truly a family. Whether serving the Irish Serving Girls for whom the parish was founded or the African-American Community of today, Holy Rosary has maintained the intimacy of a village church in the city. Through Word, Sacrament and fellowship we hope to extend to you the face of Christ.

Sincerely,
The Rev. Paul Jervis
Pastor, Holy Rosary

 Mass Schedule: Sundays: 9:30 a.m. • Rectory: 718-493-8001
